Taiwanese food in Australia!!!
Even though the Taiwanese food here in Australia is not 100%
the same without going to Taiwan but you still can get the similar taste out of
it here.
The restaurant that I am going to introduce you for lunch
and dining today is Bao Dao Taiwanese kitchen, they are located at Chatswood,
Eastwood and Crows Nest(Sydney area).
Bao Dao Taiwanese kitchen offers variety of Taiwanese signature
dishes such as famously known fatty pork minced rice and fried chicken with
basil. Now you might be wondering why are these dishes special or either
famous??? You may be thinking that you could just go off KFC buying fried
chicken that would taste equally the same, but truly they are very different
from what my past experience they chicken outside may only fried with flour or
either not marinated (no taste). How does Taiwanese fried chicken differ from
KFC and others? Taiwanese fried chicken uses chicken breast and cut into small
cube pieces to fit into our mouth without being too big in piece. The chicken
is then marinated in soy sauce, sugar, garlic spread, rice wine and different
types of spice powder. When you eat the fried chicken it gives you crispy and crunchy
taste with tiny little basil flavour.
