The Enchiladas are originated from Mexico.
The enchilada is a tortilla which is made primarily from
corn. The Enchiladas are filled accordingly with every one’s taste. There are a
variety of ingredients that an Enchilada can have such as meat (chicken, beef
or pork), seafood, potatoes, beans, cheese, vegetables or any combination of
the previous ingredients mentioned.
After the filling is
done (try not to overloaded as then the tortilla would be difficult to close it),
the tortilla is rolled around it and a chili pepper sauce is added (the amount
of chili it depends and it will definitely vary between people) on top of the
Enchilada for a better taste and as a garnish. Other garnishes or toppings may
include cheese, sour cream, salsa, chopped onions or fresh cilantro.
