Taiwanese Desserts

After many post about lunch, making your own food and dinner, this post I will talk to you about Taiwanese desserts that is also very popular in Australia.

Taiwanese desserts, is manly contained with pearl balls. But what is pearl? Pearl is made of tapioca powder and made into a shape of small ball. When you eat the pearls it gives you the chewy feeling while it’s in your mouth.  There are many different flavours of pearls though, flavours such as taro, sweet potato, fruit and original.
Taiwanese desserts could be served cold or hot though out four seasons. With the cold Taiwanese dessert it is served with ice flakes and shaved ice added pearls(with flavours or not, usually with original and taro flavoured), syrup, condensed milk, fruit, tofu pudding and ice cream.  There are more options for hot desserts such as grass jelly and red bean as the base soup of the dessert and added with sugar syrups and  pearls(with different flavours).
