Cheap Meals in A Hurry

We have all been there. You are running out of time and you need a quick bite to eat so you quickly pick something out of the cupboard that is usually microwaved in a few minutes. Common favorites include noodles, pies and ready cooked meals. All of which come from companies like Maggi, McCain, Four n' Twenty etc. So the real question I have today is, "are home-brand ready cooked meals a good option?"
From a number of taste tests I do have an answer for you, but I will remind you that we all have our own strange tastes and often like things that no one else does. Off to a bad start, the noodles are pretty poor, very stiff and tasteless and seem to consist of any real consideration put into their production. Their canned goods follow that suite however, their frozen ready meals are another story. I have had a number of their frozen ready meal curries (similar to picture below) that actually taste pretty decent. Sure, they take a few minutes longer to cook but the exchange in flavor is nothing to fall short on. I can actually say that I enjoy eating these meals and don't just seek them out as a quick meal but also for normal lunches.

Lasagna

Have you ever being into a restaurant to have a lasagna? I am sure many of you would tell 'sure, yes'. Never though in doing it yourself? Too difficult or too much time consuming to prepare it?

Well, it is true. It takes a while in preparing, but once the cooking is done you will not be able to stop eating that fantastic homemade chicken lasagna.

I particularly recommended for a weekend which you can share it with the whole family!! And for those cheese lovers do not forget to get that Parmesan cheese that beautifully melts and add a great taste to it.

And the best of all, if in case you got to many cooked lasagna sheets lefts, do not worry!! Cut them very thinly into strips (like a linguine type of pasta) and there you go, you will be able to prepare a pasta dish of your choice with it.

Sumosalads

It is hard to eat healthy everyday? during lunch times people rather to pick up fast food and drinks within limited time. But now there is a new solution to this! to eat healthy and pick up the food without wasting any more time is not the problem anymore! Sumosalad is one example, they give you options to decide what you want for your lunch, such as salads, wraps toasties and yoghurt snacks. the reason I like Sumosalad is because of "design your own" in their menu, this way people can choose their own liking and preferral of what they want. there are simply five steps to create the lunch for you! First you pick a size for your meal in small or large, then you add the base of your liking (eg. brown rice, mixed leaf, baby spinach), after the base, you add in the ingredients you like choosing from 30 different ingredients. continuing on to the next stop is to add protein, choosing the protein of your liking such as prawns, grilled chicken or lamb etc. lastly you can dress up your salad with herbs and dressings.
